Lamar County posted their biggest  win since February 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They blew past the Berry Wildcats 52-30. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  49-38  back in December of 2024.
 Berry lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Kryssa Fields, who  posted two points in addition to five  boards, five  blocks,  and three  steals. Fields has been hot for a while, having  posted two or more  blocks the last nine times she's  played.  Abbie Lollar was another key player,  putting up seven  points and four  steals.
Lamar County's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Berry,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-11.
 Lamar County and Hubbertville will face off  at 1:10  p.m.  on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Berry,  a feisty cat fight is on tap when  the Berry Wildcats  face off against   the West Blocton Tigers at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
