Helena scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Moody Blue Devils by a score of 31-28. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 26-21 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Le'Kamren Meadows had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 174 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.3 yards per carry for Moody. With that strong performance, Meadows is now averaging an impressive 102 rushing yards per game. Moody also relied on Aubrey Walker, who's 46-yard boot wound up being the difference in the game.

This is the second loss in a row for Helena and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Moody, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Helena will head out to take on Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies will be up against the Yellow Jackets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.4 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Moody, they will head out on the road to face off against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 13 points per game this season, so the Blue Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them.
