Huguenot's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Richmond High School for the Arts Bulldogs 23-10. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Falcons' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Ra'Sean Miller and Isaac DeJesus did most of the damage at the plate: Miller got on base in all four of his plate appearances with six stolen bases, three runs, and one double, while DeJesus went 3-for-5 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Melvin Stokes also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Huguenot was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .577. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Richmond High School for the Arts only posted a batting average of .364.

The victory snapped Huguenot's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-5 record. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Huguenot will be playing at home against Armstrong at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, they will take on L.C. Bird at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
