Eau Gallie has gone 8-2 against Rockledge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Commodores will head out on the road to face off against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Eau Gallie is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.6 runs per game this season.
Eau Gallie came out on top against Viera on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Commodores took their matchup against the Hawks 7-2. The Commodores haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Isabel (Izzy) Gambill made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2025. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ainsley O'Dell, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one double, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Latulippe, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Rockledge lost 9-3 to St. Cloud on Friday.
Rockledge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Holtz, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Eau Gallie's record now sits at 6-1. As for Rockledge, they dropped their record down to 2-7-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Everything went Eau Gallie's way against Rockledge when the teams last played back in February, as Eau Gallie made off with a 15-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Commodores since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
