This season hasn't been kind to the Albion Purple Eagles, who are still winless after their fifth match. They took a 66-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Royalton-Hartland. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Thursday (55), Albion still had to take the loss.
Royalton-Hartland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Remington Albee led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Albee has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dan Aquilina, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds.
Albion's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Royalton-Hartland, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8.
Albion will face off against Akron at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Royalton-Hartland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Barker at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
