Buckeye Central had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Vanlue on Thursday. The Bucks were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Wildcats. That looming 17-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bucks yet this season.

Buckeye Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Vanlue, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buckeye Central will venture away from home to face off against Plymouth at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bucks are facing the Big Red at the right time seeing as the Big Red are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Vanlue, they will challenge Van Buren at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
