After losing to the Myrtle Point Bobcats the last time they met, the New Hope Christian Warriors decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. New Hope Christian strolled past Myrtle Point with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 45-28. The victory made it back-to-back wins for New Hope Christian.
New Hope Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Avarly Barnett out in front who scored 24 points along with five steals and two blocks. That makes it six consecutive games in which Barnett has scored at least a third of New Hope Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Zumhofe, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
New Hope Christian's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Myrtle Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.
New Hope Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Myrtle Point also has no future games currently scheduled.
