The second Costa Mesa player making an appearance here is Andrew Waiss, and for good reason. He threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground.

Rodriguez rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 40 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made a tackle.
Loara is on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8. Rodriguez and Loara will face off against Santiago at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
