Basketball Recap: Delmarva Christian Now 10-3 over Last 13 Games

There's no place like home for Delmarva Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 56-34 margin over the Worcester Prep Mallards on Monday. The Royals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Delmarva Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Darius Liles out in front who went 6 of 11 on his way to 14 points and five boards. Liles is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. D J Liles was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Delmarva Christian has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points over those games. As for Worcester Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Delmarva Christian will square off against ASPIRA Charter at 5:15 p.m. on February 18th. Delmarva Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully ASPIRA Charter likes a good challenge. Worcester Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
