The Buffalo Bison's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Warsaw, falling 43-6. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Buffalo in their matchups with Warsaw: they've now lost three in a row.
Garrett Ferguson was a one-man wrecking crew for Warsaw as he rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 110 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Jayce Depriest was in the mix too, providing Warsaw with two touchdowns.
Buffalo's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.8 points per game. As for Warsaw, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Buffalo will head out on the road to face off against Eldon at 6:55 p.m. on Friday. Eldon is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Warsaw, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Carrollton at 7:00 p.m. Carrollton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while Warsaw is ranked 142nd).
