In what's become a running theme this season, the Brentwood Bruins gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ravenwood 56-28 at home. Given Brentwood's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while Ravenwood is ranked 227th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Ella Ryan, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Brentwood's points. Paige Morris was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
The win made it two in a row for Brentwood and bumps their season record up to 21-4. As for Ravenwood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.
Brentwood will head out on the road to square off against Summit at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Brentwood focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Friday. As for Ravenwood, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. Centennial is coming into the matchup with 11 straight defeats on the road, meaning Ravenwood will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
