Sachse proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 19) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Rowlett Eagles. Maya McClarity made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. McClarity was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-3.
