Sargent extended the longest winning streak in A-8 West - Mountain (8 Man) this week by beating Sanford, 56-12. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
La Veta took down Antonito 54-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Blake Warren threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 10 yards in the win.
Jonathan Sanchez was the best wideout in the league this week as the Redskins beat the Trojans. Sanchez racked up four receptions for 116 yards. Zac Brunelli helped La Veta's passing attack out by catching three balls for 41 yards.
Scott Dillon was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 10 carries, he ran for 195 yards as Sargent bested Antonito. Teammate Colton Cooley added to the ground attack by rushing for 87 yards.
Sargent's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Farmers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Austin Dillon has thrown for 1247 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Nate Ramirez has 20 catches for 523 yards. Dillon leads the league in rushing with 813 yards.
Sangre de Cristo made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 649 from 753. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 64-26 victory over Sierra Grande last week.
