Desert Heights Prep has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Mayer Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Desert Heights Prep's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Luke Beck, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds, and Darron Flores who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The contest was Flores' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joey Gall, who scored five points.
Meanwhile, Mayer also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to San Pasqual Valley by a score of 48-40. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mayer in their matchups with San Pasqual Valley: they've now lost three in a row.
