Everman is 0-5 against South Hills since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Everman Bulldogs will be playing at home against the South Hills Scorpions at 7:45 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Everman waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Polytechnic and snuck past 3-2.
Meanwhile, South Hills put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Southwest a 3-0 shutout. The win made it back-to-back wins for South Hills.
They hit Southwest with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Brianna Coreas,
Isabella Sancen, and
Maria del carmen Tiliano.
Everman's win bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for South Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4-2 record this season.
Everman might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from South Hills when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Can Everman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
