Bartlett owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Granger Lions. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Bartlett is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Granger, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Bartlett has already played their next contest, a 6-4 win against Goldthwaite on the 1st. As for Granger, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harper at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions are facing the Longhorns at the right time seeing as the Longhorns are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
