Baseball Recap: Warren Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Warren barely beat Marietta the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 8-1 victory on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on three straight.

Jacob Sealey was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Haiden Strong, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Warren's record now sits at 6-2. As for Marietta, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Looking ahead, Warren will square off against Waterford at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marietta, they will face off against Athens at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
