Cameron Klann of Flagler ran for the longest rushing play in A-6 Southeast (6 Man) this season against Hi-Plains last week. Klann scampered for 64 yards on the play and finished with 151 on the day as his team lost to the Patriots.
Liberty/Stratton extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Cheraw, 74-6. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Trenton Mitchek made the biggest impact on defense this week as Eads topped Deer Trail. He racked up 2.0 sacks.
Dylan Dixon was a beast in the backfield as the Eagles beat the Eagles.
Dixon provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Eads defeated Deer Trail.
Kevin Eberle was the best receiver in the league this week as Flagler lost to Hi-Plains. Eberle racked up 4 receptions for 53 yards. Klann helped Flagler's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 44 yards.
5-foot-7 quarterback Nathan Witt of Jason Saffer's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 523. He has also thrown 10 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Dalton Eldringhoff. The Deer Trail star has 22 catches for 269 yards.
Next week's game between the Panthers and Liberty/Stratton will feature an aerial matchup as Witt tests his arm against Trevor Thompson's defensive ability.
