Dowling extended the longest winning streak in 4A Division 3 this week by beating Lincoln, 42-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Mason City made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,418 from 11,016. The advance stemmed from a 61-7 victory over the Mohawks last week.
Marshalltown's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bobcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Blake Gimbel has thrown for 3675 yards and 33 touchdowns this season, while De'Quan McDowell has 73 catches for 1099 yards. Colten Fuller leads the league in rushing with 411 yards.
Marshalltown led the league in scoring this week after putting up 45 points on Des Moines East. Gimbel threw for 347 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
