The Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights won the last time they faced the South Williamsport Mountaineers, and things went their way on Friday too. Neumann Regional Academy greeted the New Year with with a 57-40 win over South Williamsport. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Neumann Regional Academy.
Messiah Baldwin was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Neumann Regional Academy's points. Andrew Walter was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Neumann Regional Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for South Williamsport, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neumann Regional Academy will face off against Millville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Williamsport is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Northwest Area at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
