Fruitvale is 0-3 against Cooper since January of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Fruitvale Bobcats will be playing at home against the Cooper Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Fruitvale ended up a good deal behind Cumby and lost 70-52. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fruitvale in their matchups with Cumby: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Cooper pushed their score all the way to 66 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Boles by a score of 69-66. Cooper has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Fruitvale dropped their record down to 5-20 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Cooper, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.
Fruitvale might still be hurting after the 61-39 defeat they got from Cooper in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Cooper's Alfred Wilkerson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Now that Fruitvale knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
