Sachse has gone a perfect 10-0 against Naaman Forest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Sachse Mustangs will head out to face off against the Naaman Forest Rangers at 12:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Sachse is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 23-2 margin over South Garland on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Logan Schultz made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Zoe Worley was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Brooke Robinson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Sachse was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in seven consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Naaman Forest made easy work of North Garland on Monday and carried off a 17-1 win.
Like Sachse, Naaman Forest also got a great game from a two-way player: Emily Velazquez. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Velazquez has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Naaman Forest got a massive performance out of Karsyn Rios, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. Ki'Mya Thomas was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 1-for-1.
Sachse is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. Naaman Forest's record now sits at 6-13.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Sachse hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .376. However, it's not like Naaman Forest struggles in that department as they've averaged .374. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Sachse's way against Naaman Forest when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Sachse made off with a 14-4 victory. Does Sachse have another victory up their sleeve, or will Naaman Forest turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
