On Friday Faith take on Harding County at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.
Faith took their contest against Edgemont last week by a conclusive 34-6 score. No one put up better numbers for Faith than junior Treyton Bushong, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns. In fact, with 9 tackles Bushong was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Harding County, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They came out on top against Herreid/Selby with a 34-22. The score was all tied up at the break, but Harding County were the better team in the second half.
Their wins bumped Faith to 2-3 and Harding County to 4-1. In Harding County's victory, junior Camden Hett picked up 84 yards on the ground and accumulated 189 passing yards and junior Zack Anders rushed for 55 yards and 3 touchdowns. We'll see if Faith have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
