Adding to the longest winning streak in 1A District 2 this week, Mangham beat White Castle 56-26. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Mangham took down the Bulldogs 56-26 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Ouachita Christian's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Quin Graves threw for 253 yards and Jake Slaughter had 177 yards receiving. On the ground Ahkeem Henderson chipped in 32 yards. Garryn Chowns helped Ouachita Christian's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 46 yards.
Graves put up the best numbers in passing as the Eagles lost to Southern Lab. Graves' favorite target this week was Slaughter, who caught 6 passes for 177 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Ouachita Christian's Graves and Slaughter have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-2 quarterback Graves has thrown for 1,632 yards this season, while Slaughter has 35 catches for 759 yards. Christian Colvin from Delhi Charter leads the league in rushing with 1,301 yards.
Tommy Tharp's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on White Castle.
