Walled Lake Western added to the longest winning streak in Kensington Lakes - North this week by beating Kettering, 38-28. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Warriors.
Lakeland made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,987 from 6,420. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 28-14 victory over Mott last week.
Walled Lake Western's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kyle Bambard threw for 228 and 3 touchdowns and David Walczyk had 139 yards receiving. On the ground Jonathan Simmons contributed 88 yards. Simmons helped Walled Lake Western's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 61 yards.

Bambard put up the best numbers in passing as Michael Zdebski's team beat the Captains. Bambard's favorite target this week was Walczyk, who caught 7 passes for 139 yards.
Walled Lake Western's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Bambard has thrown for 1,061 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Simmons has 19 catches for 438 yards. Bambard also leads the league in rushing with 391 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Walled Lake Northern takes on Kettering. At the moment, the Knights are in second, while Kyle Schultz's team is in third.
