Meanwhile, J.P. McCaskey fell victim to Hempfield and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Black Knights by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tornados have suffered since May 5, 2025.

Everything went Lancaster Catholic's way against J.P. McCaskey in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Lancaster Catholic made off with a 14-4 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
