Baseball Recap: Monroe's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Monroe had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool Trailblazers on Friday. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 6-1 victory the Trailblazers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Monroe's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 24-9.

Coming up, Monroe will face off against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hornets 4, the Eagles 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
