The Sweetwater Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They fell just short of Liberty by a score of 2-1.
Sweetwater's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Liberty, they now have a winning record of 6-5-4.
Sweetwater will head out on the road to take on Andrews at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Andrews' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Liberty, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Snyder at 6:00 p.m. Liberty's last eight games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
