The Hawthorne Christian Academy Hawks lost against the Union Christian Day Eagles back in February of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Hawthorne Christian Academy took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Union Christian Day.
Union Christian Day got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Eli Gage out in front who scored 18 points. Gage continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaeden Brown, who scored 15 points.
Hawthorne Christian Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Union Christian Day, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Hawthorne Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Carolina Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Union Christian Day, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lighthouse Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. Lighthouse Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
