After having lost a blowout in their last-week game, the Carlton Bulldogs were happy to find some success on Monday. They blew past the Hill City Hornets 89-61. That result was just more of the same for the Bulldogs, who also won the last time these teams played (Feb. 18 of last year).
The win got Carlton back to even at 10-10. The loss dropped Hill City's record to 3-14.
Carlton will look to defend their home court Friday against Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida. Keep an eye on the score for this one: Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida also posted a lofty point total in their previous contest, a 70-69 win over Roosevelt. Hill City will be hunkering down at home again for their matchup against Onamia Friday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close contest.
