The South Granville Vikings suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Carrboro on the road and fell 64-21. South Granville has struggled against Carrboro recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Summer Lee continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Carrboro, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. Lee hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Julia Spang, who scored eight points along with seven assists and five steals.
South Granville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Carrboro, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.
South Granville will head out on the road to challenge Louisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carrboro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Granville Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Granville Central comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
