Inglemoor is 2-8 against Woodinville since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Inglemoor Vikings will head out on the road to challenge the Woodinville Falcons at 7:15 p.m. Inglemoor is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Inglemoor lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Friday was a bit more commanding. They were beaten by Redmond 82-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Inglemoor has suffered yet this season.
Despite their defeat, Inglemoor saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Aman Sterling, who scored 16 points along with two steals, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Mateo Love, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Woodinville waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They took down Bothell 75-59. Given Woodinville's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while Bothell is ranked 218th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Inglemoor has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Woodinville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Inglemoor came up short against Woodinville when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 67-58. Can Inglemoor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
