The biggest upset of the week belonged to Montgomery County, who took down 264th ranked Durant, 16-6.
The Hornets were the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to fifth in 1A Region 2. Montgomery County defeated the Tigers 16-6 earlier in the week.
Devonte Mcpherson threw for 240 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Mcpherson put up the best numbers in passing as St. Joseph beat McAdams. Mcpherson's favorite target this week was Gabe Bernardi, who caught 4 passes for 75 yards.
The Fighting Irish's Mcpherson and Demanuel Bailey led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Mcpherson has thrown for 977 yards this season, while Bailey, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has 17 catches for 433 yards. St. Aloysius's Connor Smith leads the league in rushing yards with 521.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Kennedy takes on the Flashes. As it stands, the Hornets are in third, while St. Aloysius is in second.
Kennedy and Shaw played the closest game in 1A Region 2 this week, with Kennedy eventually emerging with a 22-20 victory. Carnez Gant ran for 169 yards in the win.
