Southeast hadn't done well against Erie recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Lancers came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Lancers: when they faced off against the Red Devils two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

While Southeast won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-21.

Southeast's win bumped their record up to 9-16-1. As for Erie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-16 record this season.

Southeast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Baxter Springs on the 11th. As for Erie, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Humboldt on the 11th.
