Southeast hadn't done well against Erie recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Lancers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Red Devils. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Southeast won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-21.

Southeast found their leader in freshman Addy Ulepich, who had eight digs. Quincey Coots also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Southeast's win bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Erie, their loss dropped their record down to 16-16.

Southeast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Baxter Springs on the 11th. As for Erie, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Humboldt on the 11th.
