Waterloo West had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their game against Waterloo East on Friday 34-20. That result is just more of the same for Waterloo West, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Waterloo West a 1-0 record and starting Waterloo East off at 0-1.
Next week, Waterloo West take on Mason City at 7:00 PM. As for Waterloo East, they will face of against Liberty.
