West Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Central Valley, they dropped their record down to 2-21 with that loss, which was their 20th straight at home.
Everything came up roses for West Valley against Central Valley in their previous matchup on January 9th as the team secured a 82-31 win. With West Valley ahead 42-18 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
