Schaumburg Christian's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carynton Hobson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 19 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Hobson has scored at least 25% of Schaumburg Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Bustamante, who scored seven points along with ten steals and five assists.
Schaumburg Christian's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Westlake Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Schaumburg Christian will head out on the road to face off against Alden-Hebron at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alden-Hebron is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games. As for Westlake Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Westminster Christian at 6:00 p.m.
