Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, New Lisbon should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They hope to keep the momentum going despite having enjoyed some extra time before their next contest against Bangor at 7:00 PM. With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory.
New Lisbon strolled past Wonewoc-Center/Weston with points to spare two weeks ago, taking the match 32-16.
Meanwhile, Bangor was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything went their way against Royall last week as they made off with a 43-12 win.
Their wins bumped Bangor to 3-0 and New Lisbon to 2-0. We'll see which team can carry over they success and which team inevitably falls when Bangor and New Lisbon clash.
