Fort Hill (Cumberland, Md.) had a comfortable lead entering the fourth quarter, but used 14 fourth quarter points to seal the 46-20 victory over
Allegany (Cumberland, Md.).
After taking the lead on a
Ty Johnson touchdown run in the second quarter, the Sentinels were up 21-12 at the half.
Fort Hill expanded its lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. FH scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Alex Barnes.
Johnson was the top performer for the Sentinels. The junior running back ran for one touchdown. He has now scored two touchdowns on the season.
The Campers came in giving up 14.3 points per game this season. Allegany had a hard time against Fort Hill's offense, which entered the game scoring 4.1 points per game.
When the two teams played each other last season, FH came away with a 21-20 victory.
The loss comes after Allegany defeated Towson 35-6 last week. The loss broke Allegany's two-game winning streak.
