Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oviedo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Pennyfeather, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pennyfeather has scored all season. Alex Harper was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Hagerty lost, one person who can't be blamed is Caden Douglass. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Douglass has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Alex Dipaolo, who scored nine points along with two blocks.
Oviedo is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Hagerty, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4.
