Spanish Springs' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tanner Bowers, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Josiah McBride was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Galena's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 65-55 to McQueen. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
