Perry Central is 3-0 against Clarksville since January of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Perry Central Commodores will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Clarksville Generals at 8:00 p.m. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Perry Central and seven for Clarksville.
Last Saturday, Perry Central ended up a good deal behind South Spencer and lost 41-24.
Meanwhile, Clarksville was beaten by North Harrison 66-18 on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Clarksville has scored all season.
Perry Central has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Clarksville, they bumped their record down to 2-10 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Perry Central was able to grind out a solid win over Clarksville in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, winning 52-44. Will Perry Central repeat their success, or does Clarksville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
