On Friday Green Street Academy will take on Silver Oak Academy at 3:45 PM. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Green Street Academy have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
Green Street Academy might be getting used to good results now that the team has four wins in a row. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Berkeley Springs 48-8. Followers of Green Street Academy probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Meanwhile, we expected Silver Oak Academy to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Caravel, and they did. Silver Oak Academy have to be aching after a bruising 18-47 defeat to Caravel.
Green Street Academy didn't have too many spare points in their contest with Silver Oak Academy the last time the two teams met, but they still walked away with a 30-25 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Green Street Academy since the team won't have home-field advantage.
