After only two runs in their last match, East Ridge made sure to put some runs up on the board against Legacy Charter on Wednesday. The East Ridge Knights blew past the Legacy Charter Eagles 19-8. With that victory, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 8.2 runs per game.

East Ridge got a massive performance out of Jonmykal Boom, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI and two runs. Those RBI marked the first that Boom's brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Matthew Dewoody, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

East Ridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .578. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Legacy Charter only posted an OBP of .424.

The win got East Ridge back to even at 2-2. As for Legacy Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

East Ridge will have a chance to go back-to-back against Legacy Charter: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
