Sherman have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they will take on Texas at 7:00 PM. Sherman are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
After a dominant victory in their matchup three weeks ago, Sherman were humbled two weeks ago. They took a hard 13-29 fall against Poteet. Sherman got a solid performance out of senior Blaise Bentsen, who accumulated 129 passing yards and picked up 41 yards on the ground; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Texas, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They lost to Poteet by a decisive 28-46 margin. Texas were down by 14-46 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. Find out which team's record gets a tune-up and which team falls into a funk by watching the game and checking back on MaxPreps for the full scoop.
