The Grayville Bison will challenge the Webber Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Grayville has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Grayville fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against North Clay/Clay City on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of North Clay/Clay City by a score of 13-12.

Briley Campbell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kodi Murphy, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Webber came into Thursday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out Wayne City 14-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since March 20, 2025.
Maryn Sneed made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and six unearned) runs off nine hits. Sneed was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. Those triples were her first of the season.
In other batting news, Webber let Allie Smith and Emma Forristall run wild. Smith got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Forristall went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits Forristall has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Bain, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Webber always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Grayville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Webber, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Grayville got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Webber by a conclusive 27-6 score. Do the Bison have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
