While losing is never fun, Far Northeast W can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings  (they are ranked 295th, while Northfield is ranked 16th).
 Kennedy's victory  ended a five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 5-17. As for Far Northeast W, they dropped their record down to 1-21 with that  defeat, which was their seventh straight  at home.
 Kennedy was dealt a bruising  71-36 loss at the hands of Far Northeast W when the teams last played  back in February of 2022. That  game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Kennedy was down  42-15.
