Bozeman has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Holmes County Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Bozeman will be strutting in after a win while Holmes County will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Bozeman didn't have too much trouble with North Bay Haven Academy at home as they won 50-33.
Meanwhile, Holmes County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 58-53 to Enterprise. While losing is never fun, Holmes County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 126th in Florida, while Enterprise is ranked 15th in Alabama).
Holmes County's loss came about despite a quality game from Karson McGowan, who shot 5-for-8 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 24 points and 10 assists. Another player making a difference was Emma Whitaker, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Bozeman's victory bumped their season record to 2-2 while North Bay Haven Academy's defeat dropped theirs to 2-3.
