The Waxahachie Prep Warriors's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Friday, Waxahachie Prep came up short against Victory Baptist Academy and fell 51-44.
Cornerstone Christian Academy lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on back in December of 2023 was a bit more commanding. They were dealt a 63-33 loss at the hands of Wylie Prep Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cornerstone Christian Academy has scored all season.
Waxahachie Prep's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-4. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.
Waxahachie Prep lost to Cornerstone Christian Academy on the road by a decisive 45-31 margin when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Waxahachie Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
